Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During the second day of his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar emphasized that he is focusing on showcasing the government's numerous welfare schemes and development projects rather than engaging in arguments with the opposition. He also addressed comments made by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, expressing his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon his return to Mumbai. Pawar highlighted the government's commitment to inclusive development and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. Emphasizing the government's secular values, he stated that the administration is guided by the principles of historical figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar highlighted initiatives such as the Jan Sanman Yatra, which aims to raise awareness about government programs, including the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana and other schemes benefitting women, farmers, and various community leaders. He reassured the public about the government's dedication to the welfare of all sections of society, irrespective of caste, religion, region, or language.He stated that these plans would persist for the next five years if the Mahayuti receives assistance in the upcoming elections.
